The aim of this wiki is to help people further understand the connections, characters and lead-up movies to The Avengers movie. When The Avengers is released, we will have plot synopses, cast and characters for it.

The Avengers MovieEdit

The Avengers Movie is the first live-action movie of it's kind. It assembles a group of superheroes and generally exceptional beings (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow) in one movie. There have been five introductory movies for The Avengers. These are: Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. These movies were the origin stories of four of the main heroes Tony Stark 'Iron Man', Bruce Banner 'The Hulk', Steve Rogers 'Captain America' and Thor Odinson. While the other two heroes (Natasha Romanoff 'Black Widow' and Clint Barton 'Hawkeye') did not have an origin movie they appeared in some of the other character's origin movies (Black Widow appeared in Iron Man 2 and Hawkeye appeared in Thor). All these introductory movies led up to and introduced the Avengers movie.

Marvel Studios is trying to make the biggest and most memorable movie of 2012 while also trying to set a new standard for superhero movies.
